Rock, Clock, & Whistle
Way back in the peculiar first days of the company, when we still mostly lived on the Ranch, we were commissioned by the late great Ed McNally to build a sculpture as the centrepiece of the Big Rock Brewery in Calgary. The result was a 45-foot tall cosmological clock built out of scrap farm machinery we collected from junkyards across the Canadian prairies, which told the time based on the speed of the wind and blew a tune on 19th century train whistles at random intervals that signalled the entire staff to stop and drink a pint by Ed's official decree. It still stands to this day.
